Tips on choosing cabin baggage
But how do you measure the size of your suitcase?!
A suitcase is always measured from the floor to the handle in order to take into account the entire suitcase and not just the contents!
See below for the different sizes available:
- Size S is suitable for a weekend,
- size M to 1 to 2 weeks of vacation,
- and size L for 2 to 3 weeks of vacation
We offer practical and easily identifiable suitcases , including a range of cabin suitcases with an external computer compartment – no need to completely reopen your suitcase!
Of course, several items are not allowed in your luggage for train or plane journeys:
Water bottles, cosmetics, Swiss Army knives and other items are prohibited.
However, it is possible to carry liquid products in cabin baggage, in a plastic bag (only one bag per passenger) provided the following conditions are met:
- The containers must be placed in a sealed, transparent plastic bag.
- the bottles must not exceed 100 ml,
- the maximum volume of the bag must be less than 1 liter,
- the maximum dimensions of the bag are 20 x 20 cm.
Rigid or flexible?
A soft-sided suitcase is lightweight and can be expanded to some extent. It generally has more external storage space than a hard-sided suitcase.
The hard-shell suitcase is more robust, there are a multitude of different designs available for hard-shell suitcases, you are sure to find the product that matches your personality.
